INSTALLATION OF THE EXTENSIONS OF MICROSOFT© FRONTPAGE©

The first that we must do for being able to publish our Web by means of this program is to activate the extensions of Microsoft© Frontpage ©. One is a process totally automated by means of our Control Panel, but it would arise some problem do not doubt in putting itself in contact with our department of technical support.

In order to activate the extensions of Microsoft © Frontpage © by means of our Control Panel will have solely to follow the following steps:

1. To enter http://admin.ipagehosting.net (replacing “ipagehosting.net� by the contracted and lodged dominion)
2. To introduce user and password (received at the time of the hiring)
3. To enter the section Web
4. To enter the section Frontpage
5. To follow the steps indicated in this section

With our completely designed Web, we went to the menu “File� of Microsoft© Frontpage© and choose the option “To publish Web�.

Here it will appear an option that will allow us to form our connection with the servant where it is lodged our dominion, in this case one of the servants of Access BASIC Server. In order to form this connection correctly, we will have to follow the following steps:

1. We write the complete URL of our dominion (including http:// and www.)
2. The most comfortable and fast way to update by means of Microsoft © Frontpage © supposes to mark the option “to only publish pages with changes�. This way we were avoided to have to raise always to all the archives of our project Web.
3. We advise to mark the option “To include subWebs�.
4. Not to mark to the option required safe Connection (SSL)�.

Once we complete this configuration the program will connect with the servant and it will ask for name of user and password to us, that we will have available thanks to the email of confirmation of lodging order Web, received at the time of the hiring of the service with Access BASIC Server (the same used in the installation of the extensions of Frontpage by means of our Control Panel).

Once introduced the data in the corresponding squares, we accepted and we hoped following our connection to be able to have all the archives of form updated in the servant.
